Avalanche Tones is the brainchild of Ava Toton, a 17-year-old musician and developer who says her goal is to make the lives of guitarists, songwriters and audio engineers a lot easier! The debut product to be released under the new brand is Chainsaw Suite, an all-in-one plug-in that's been created with ultra-heavy modern guitar tones in mind.
Designed to provide an intuitive alternative to complex menu-driven software, the new arrival presents users with a pedalboard-style GUI that can be loaded with up to 10 of the built-in processing modules. Given the task at hand, it’ll probably come as no surprise that there are nine gain-based modules included, covering an array of distortions, overdrives and fuzzes. The collection also extends to a selection of EQs, a compressor, a noise gate, a bit-crusher and an octave effect.
Users can freely move modules around the interface to alter their place in the signal path, and along with series routing, Chainsaw Suite allows users to run two effects paths in parallel and blend seamlessly between them. Take a look at the walkthrough video below to see and hear the plug-in in action.

Chainsaw Suite is supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 10.14 or later.
