Elektron’s polyphonic sampler, the Tonverk, has just received an OS update that introduces multitrack streaming via the company’s Overbridge plug-in, along with expanded options for each track’s modulation setup, effects order swapping and a whole host of other improvements and fixes.

Overbridge Multitrack Streaming
With this initial release of Overbridge for Tonverk, users get access to the Overbridge streaming functionality. This makes it possible to stream each track separately to your computer, and is primarily intended for flexible recording, mixing and further production, rather than full DAW integration. Elektron say that is the first stage of Tonverk’s Overbridge journey, but they wanted to make it available while work continues on improvements such as reducing latency.
Velocity & Key Tracking Modulation
Added to Tonverk's modulation setup options are Velocity and Key Tracking. Both allow users to assign up to four destinations and use their performance to shape the sound in real time. Velocity Mod changes parameters based on the velocity value of played notes, and can be used to make sounds respond more dynamically, adding movement and expression with every note. Key Tracking changes parameters depending on the keyboard position of notes — high and low notes can each influence the sound differently, opening up expressive timbral shifts across the keyboard.
Pattern Transpose In Semitones
Transpose every note in a pattern up or down in semitones with a simple shortcut. Quickly try new keys and harmonic ideas, all without altering the original note data.
FX Order Swap
Swap the order of FX1 and FX2 on Audio and Bus tracks with ease. Explore how different effect chains transform a sound without having to rebuild them.
Reload Parameter Page
Allows users to reload the current parameter page from its memorised state, offering another way to explore, experiment and then instantly return to the original sound at the click of a button. Tweak freely and undo changes on a single parameter page without affecting the rest of your sound.

The update also introduces a wide range of additional features, improvements and fixes, including pattern copy, paste and clear without leaving the current pattern, Presets menu filtering and search, freely selectable MIDI channels for each track, modulation macro page clearing, and general performance, stability and UI improvements.
