EVE Audio’s EXO Series monitor range has just gained a new software element that provides remote access to all of the systems’ DSP features via a Windows and macOS desktop application. EVE Origin offers everything from volume control and input selection to delay, sensitivity settings, smart filters and advanced equalisation, making every essential parameter available through an intuitive, streamlined interface.
A dedicated section within the new application pairs EVE Audio’s Smart Filters with enhanced visual feedback, allowing users to optimise their speakers’ performance to suit their room acoustics and listening preferences. It also expands the existing tools with a new eight-band EQ that offers per-band control over frequency, gain, Q factor and filter type, either through precise numerical controls or by manipulating points on the graphical EQ display. All adjustments are applied in real time, making A/B comparisons effortless and enabling fast, accurate sound shaping. The software also includes a Scenes feature that makes it possible to create and quickly switch between multiple configurations.
While the new software provides control over every DSP parameter available on the EXO Series, everything is still saved directly on the monitors themselves, ensuring any setting remain in place even without the software running.
