Heritage Audio’s range of monitor controllers has just gained a new member, the Baby RAM Black Edition. Created in celebration of the company’s 15th anniversary, the latest addition delivers an all-black version of the smallest member of the RAM family, offering the same performance and functionality but in an alternative finish.
Said to be designed for those who didn’t connect with the console-inspired aesthetic of the original, the new model is identical to the original in terms of its functionality, but comes sporting a sleek new all-black finish. It still features the same high-quality passive circuitry, and the only component that’s different is the large rotary control: the large Marconi knob has been swapped out in favour of an RCA-style black dial, but still sits atop of the same stepped potentiometer.
Heritage Audio say that the Baby RAM Black Edition is a limited release, and they’ll only be producing the initial batch.
