iamReverb Audio have just launched a free update that kits their convolution reverb plug-in out with some new features and introduces some additional impulse responses.
With the launch of iamReverb 1.5.0, both the full and Lite versions of the plug-in gain some new content. The full version now comes loaded with 13 additional presets and six new impulse responses, while the Lite variant receives six new presets and five impulse responses. Both versions now sport a new RT60 reverb-time display, which appears in the preset browser and main window views, providing users with a detailed visual overview of their reverb’s decay characteristics.
Other new additions include the ability to lock parameters so that their values remain consistent when switching between presets, solo functionality for the plug-in’s Close, Mid and Far signals and a Preset Sync feature that simplifies working with multiple instances — adding, renaming, or deleting presets in one instance now automatically updates the preset menu across all other open instances.
