IK Multimedia’s latest TONEX update makes it possible for users of the popular amp and effects modelling platform to share full-rig presets via their online ToneNET community. With the introduction of ToneNET Preset Sharing, users can now share and discover presets and quickly get up and running with performance-ready rigs inspired by their favourite music.
Designed to help users focus on playing rather than programming, the new feature promises to offer a more intuitive, music-focused way to discover great tones. Presets can be filtered using musical references such as artist, song, genre or style, making it quicker than ever to find sounds suited to specific playing situations. ToneNET is already kitted out with hundreds of presets, and new sounds are being added daily by the global TONEX community, as well as IK Multimedia themselves and their official Tone Partners.
TONEX Preset Sharing is fully integrated across the entire product ecosystem, meaning that users can browse and download presets within TONEX software or via their mobile devices, then transfer them directly to their TONEX Pedal, TONEX ONE and TONEX Plug hardware.

Availability & Contest
ToneNET Preset Sharing is now available in TONEX version 1.11.0, which is a free update for all TONEX users.
To coincide with the launch, IK Multimedia are hosting a contest and offering promotional pricing on TONEX Signature Collections, which now feature presets from artists and brands like Joe Satriani, Gus G., Alex Lifeson, MESA/Boogie and ENGL.
