IK Multimedia reveal ReSing Voices Japanese Pack

AI-powered vocal tool gains first new language expansion

IK Multimedia ReSing Voices Japanese Pack AI vocal creation tool expansion

IK Multimedia’s AI-powered voice-creation software has seen a number of updates since it launched, and the latest introduces the very first new language expansion. ReSing Voices Japanese Pack includes 10 new vocal models which the company say marks an important step in ReSing's evolution toward a global ecosystem for voice creation, and marks the first in a series of releases covering additional languages.

Available as a plug-in and standalone application, ReSing allows users to transform vocals and instruments using expressive, performance-ready models built using recordings of real artists. It runs locally rather than via a cloud-based service, and offers in-depth control over the likes of pitch, timing, articulation and expression. If you’re keen to find out more, take a look at our full review in SOS February 2026.

Designed to expand creative possibilities for Japanese-language productions, the new expansion features 10 unique vocal models that cover a wide variety of tones, styles and expressive characteristics. Spanning everything from bright, modern J-pop vocals to deep, resonant voices, the collection offers a versatile sonic palette that’s suited to an array of applications including contemporary music, media and sound design. As the first language-specific expansion, the Japanese Pack also introduces native-language support for model creation, meaning that those who purchase the pack will be able to create their own voice models in Japanese.

Importantly, IK Multimedia are clear about the source material used to create the software. Everything has been crafted using original recordings made specifically for ReSing, with full artist consent given for the use of their material and fair compensation paid for their work.

Singers interested in contributing to the ReSing ecosystem can also apply to join the Session Singers Showcase, where artists make their voices available to producers worldwide. With the introduction of Japanese-language support, IK Multimedia say that they are now expanding their search for new vocal talent in Japan and beyond.

ReSing Voices Japanese Pack runs in ReSing, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.15 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with a standalone application. ARA2 operation is supported for compatible DAWs.
