Infrasonic have announced that they will be running a one-day masterclass event focused on hybrid mastering, mastering for vinyl and vinyl cutting at their Infrasonic Nashville facility on 29 October 2026, just ahead of this year’s AES Show.
The event will provide 10 attendees with an insight into the process of vinyl cutting, demonstrating how the mastering process differs from working on material thats destined for streaming services or digital release. Designed for musicians, engineers and vinyl enthusiasts alike, the session will feature a live hybrid mastering session using gear from the likes of Rupert Neve Designs, Wolff Audio and Pulse Techniques, along with a live seven-inch vinyl cutting session carried out by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer and Infrasonic founder Pete Lyman.
Where & When?
The Cutting Sessions will be taking place between 10am and 5pm on 29 October 2026 at Infrasonic Nashville. More information, along with details on how to register for a place, can be found via the link below.
