Infrasonic, an award-winning collective of audio engineers operating out of Nashville and Los Angeles with credits ranging from Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile to Weezer, Jelly Roll and Run the Jewels, have announced that Berlin-based mastering engineer and musicologist Freddy Knop will be joining the company roster.
Freddy brings years of experience as a mastering engineer and co-founder of renowned loudspeaker and headphone brand HEDD Audio. From May 2026 onwards, he will be offering digital and analogue stereo mastering as well as Dolby Atmos services in Berlin under the Infrasonic brand. The studio is equipped with top-tier mastering gear from the likes of SPL, HEDD Audio, elysia, Thermionic Culture, Apogee and Zaehl Elektronik, providing artists with the same level of precision and quality as Infrasonic’s praised US facilities.
Infrasonic say that the move strengthens their global presence and expands their capabilities, and will help to provide artists working at any level with access to world-class mastering and immersive audio services.
