Tackles all reported bugs!
SoundBridge have just announced the launch of a new update that introduces a couple of minor changes to their remote collaboration-focused DAW, as well as tackling all of the known bugs! Take a look at the breakdown below to see what’s on offer with SoundBridge 3.0.1.
What’s New?
Changes
- Removed the audio output option from the webcam and talkback settings for virtual collaboration. The talkback audio output will now default to the output device selected on Preferences - Audio.
- Improved guidance for macOS users to grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions required for virtual collaboration. Added prompts to ensure OS permission dialogs are properly completed and not missed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue on macOS 15 / macOS 26 where virtual collaboration could fail on the guest side, affecting streaming signal, local monitor audio, playback movement and recording.
- Fixed an issue where playback would not function on either side when macOS Tahoe v26 was used as the host.
- Fixed an issue where only the last take from loop recording was transferred to the peer, with take lanes not being included.
- Fixed an issue where the last frame of the camera stream could remain frozen in the guest’s video player after finalising a session.
- Fixed an issue on macOS where changing the project could cause the webcam stream to stop and prevent it from recovering properly.
- Fixed an issue on macOS where the webcam stream would not start until Preferences was opened and closed.
- Fixed an issue where remote input links could persist after disconnecting a virtual collaboration session, preventing audio and MIDI tracks from fully releasing connections at the audio engine level despite the GUI resetting to ‘None’.
- Fixed an issue where changing the sample rate during a virtual collaboration session caused the talkback to stop working.
