As with their other stereo pairs, the company employ an automated measurement and pairing process which they say creates perfectly matched pairs with indistinguishable specifications and sonic properties. The process begins with frequency response and sensitivity measurements for every single microphone produced, while an algorithm compares all of the resulting data and places closely matched models together. The pairs are then packaged and shipped.
Lewitt say that since the process is automated, they are able to offer the LCT 440 Pure as a perfectly matched stereo pair without charging extra. In the case of the new set, the cost works out the same as purchasing two individual mics, and offers even greater value for money as it comes with a collection of accessories.
