Quickly creates reverse reverb effects

Low End Candy have recently released a new plug-in that offers a quick and simple way to create reverse reverb effects. Preverb comes with six onboard reverb models that can be used to create riser, transition and lead-in effects without needing to bounce tracks and manually reverse the resulting clips.

With the plug-in inserted on a track, users can select from a choice of six reverb characters: Hall, Room, Plate, Cathedral, Ambience and Spring. All of the controls you’d expect to see on a reverb are present — length, mix, tone, filtering and EQ options and so on — and are joined by Pitch and Formant parameters than can be used independently or linked together. Creating the reverse effect is as simple as hitting Capture and playing back the sound of choice, and it’ll appear in the GUI as a rendered WAV file that can be dragged straight onto a DAW’s audio track.

Compatibility

Preverb is supported on Windows and macOS systems (no minimum versions specified). VST3 and AU plug-in versions are available. Note that there is no AAX version, so Pro Tools is not supported.
