New portable PA range includes amplification and built-in three-channel mixer

Martin's new active BlacklineX Powered range of PA speakers.

Since its launch in 2016, Martin Audio's passive range of portable BlacklineX PA speakers has been the fastest-selling range in the company's history, according to CEO Dom Harter at the launch of their new PA range. Now they've taken the logical step of building in amplification to make powered versions, drawing on their experience of acoustics, DSP design, and amp technology to create an all-in-one, full-bandwidth portable PA range for live musicians, DJs and corporate events.

There are three models in Martin Audio's BlacklineX Powered range: the XP12 (£1080$1250) and XP15 (£1320$1500) with, respectively, 12- and 15-inch woofers, and the compact XP118 18-inch subwoofer (£1500$1625). Each ships with a built-in three-channel mixer, and all of the speakers may be remotely controlled from a forthcoming smartphone-based Bluetooth app, which will also stream audio directly to the speakers if required.

The BlacklineX Powered range is expected to ship worldwide over the Summer. For more information, see the link below.
