McDSP have just released the latest addition to their APB line-up, DC-2 Dual Compressor, and have also announced that their Go Green sale has been extended until 30 June 2026.
DC-2 Dual Compressor
The new arrival to the APB range includes a pair of independent compressors that can be arranged in series or parallel. Both include FET, VCA and Optical modes, as well as boasting an assortment of side-chain filter shapes, selectable compression knee sizes, peak and RMS operation modes and an auto-release option. Each channel output then features a customisable saturation stage that includes and a variety of distortion modes, along with two bands of double-precision EQ that can be placed before or after the compressor and saturation stages. As with all of the system’s plug-ins, the DC-2 Dual Compressor’s processing is carried out in the analogue domain by McDSP’s APB-8 or APB-16 hardware.
Go Green
Along with the new plug-in, McDSP have also announced that they will be extending their Go Green sale until 30 June 2026. The promotion sees discounts of up to 71% applied across all v7 upgrades, bundle upgrades and bundles, as well as a $500 discount on a purchase of an APB-8 or APB-16 hardware system.
And for a limited time, all APB hardware purchases will include an Everything Pack bundle, in addition to the growing collection of APB plug-ins that now includes the DC-2 Dual Compressor. All additional APB plug-ins (such as the DC-2) and the Everything Pack bundle can be redeemed when registering a product.

DC-2 Dual Compressor requires a McDSP APB-8 or APB-16 hardware system.
