Multi-City conference for music makers returns to SAE Expression College in San Francisco

Music Expo, in association with Sound On Sound magazine, announces the fifth outing of ‘Music Expo San Francisco.’ The annual multi-city conference for music makers first launched in San Francisco, and has since expanded to Miami, Boston, and Nashville. The fifth edition of Music Expo San Francisco will be hosted by SAE Expression College on Saturday, November 10th. In celebration of the five year mark, Music Expo San Francisco will be announcing surprise special events and giveaways. Gold sponsors Yamaha and Steinberg will host exclusive masterclasses with some of their top specialists. Limited early bird tickets are $25 and are available now until Sept. 30th or until they are sold-out HERE.

Music Expo has welcomed hundreds of Grammy award-winning producers, engineers, songwriters, artists and musicians, and has hosted several of the industry’s leading technology brands. The day-long exhibition will feature keynote presentations, panels and educational workshops. Breakout sessions will cover topics including music creation, technology and music business. It’s a rare opportunity for aspiring talent to learn from some of the most successful music creators.

“In San Francisco, the Expo is becoming the place for the audio and recording community, and the music industry to discuss important conversations about music creation. Every year it continues to grow, and this year we are expecting a thousand attendees. We’ve had great support from SAE Expression College, and  I’m excited to say that it’s been five years! I hope that we can continue to provide Music Expo as a platform for the creative community to gather,” said Loïc Maestracci, Founder of Music Expo.

Music Expo San Francisco has been wildly successful, typically selling out in advance. We shared some of the highlights and a recap HERE. With conferences across the country, Music Expo has been featured in Sound On Sound, Music Row, Making Music Magazine, Tape Op and Gearslutz.com. Digital music publication Based Boston remarked, “...events such as Music Expo are integral in providing educational opportunities for all types of creatives, especially in cities where resources and infrastructure exist on a smaller scale than the New York City’s and Los Angeles.”

Since Music Expo’s inception, the event has brought together artists, producers, engineers and innovators including Thavius Beck (Nine Inch Nails, Sau Williams), Decap (Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, Teeko), Tony Esterly (Sia, Andra Day, The Strutts), Michael Gross (Twitter), Ziek McCarter (Con Brio), Tiffany Miranda (Girls Make Beats), Gary Noble (Faith Evans, Amy Winehouse), John Paterno (Robbie Williams, Steve Porcaro), Piper Payne (Ray Cooper, The She’s), Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton), Jamie Sampson (Pandora), Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker) and Robert Venable (Kelly Clarkson, Twenty One Pilots, JLo).
