Music Expo San Francisco 2024

Music Expo have announced the first round of speakers for their upcoming San Francisco event for music creators. Presented by Focusrite Group and in association with Sound On Sound and Produce Like a Pro, Music Expo San Francisco is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a roster of Grammy-winning producers, engineers, songwriters, artists and more. 

The event will offer attendees up-close access to some of the world’s top DJs, producers, artists, engineers, songwriters, music industry professionals and leading technology brands. Past events have welcomed in excess of 5,000 attendees, over 250 presenters, and more than 300 hours of educational content and networking. This year, Music Expo will be exploring three major themes:

  • Music and AI;
  • Spatial Audio and Virtual Reality;
  • Artistry and Connection. 

This Year's Speakers

Producers and engineers confirmed thus far include: Matt Boudreau (Green Day, Alanis Morissette), Nahuel Bronzini (Fantastic Negrito, Cigarbox Man), John Cuniberti (Joe Satriani, PJ Harvey), Matt Levine  (The Last of Us, Uncharted 3, Infamous: First Light), Warren Huart (The Fray, Korn, James Blunt, Aerosmith), Jacob Light (Tess & The Details, Briget Boyle), Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Imagine Dragons), Michael Romanowski (Alicia Keys, Al Green, Peter Frampton), and Jerome Rossen (PBS Kids, The Bachelor, Temptation Island). 

Multi-instrumentalists, artists, songwriters and composers include: Briget Boyle, Cigarbox Man, Jai Josefs, Sami Freeman, Steve Horowitz, Sonia Mokhtari, Elaine Ryan and Trovarsi. 

Music industry notables include: Vocal Coach, Tenor and Actor Blake Cline, Ben Givarz and Brandon Nales, Artist Manager and Event Promoter Joi Rhone, Dolby’s John Scanlon and Marketing Strategist Kenya Moses.

San Francisco-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Otis McDonald has also been named as a special guest.

Venue & Tickets

The in-person event will be held at one of San Francisco’s newest venues, Music City San Francisco on Saturday, November 9th. Early bird tickets for the one-day event are currently on sale for $59 (25% off General Admission) and limited VIP tickets are available for $149. Additional speakers and programme highlights are still to be announced.
