Music Expo SF add final details to schedule

Roger Linn keynote, Twitter, Pandora, Live 10, and more added

Keynote speaker Roger Linn pictured with the LinnStrumentMusic Expo SF is less than a week away — Saturday 11 November — and more great sessions are still being added. In addition to the already impressive line-up of speakers, the organisers have announced a keynote speech by industry legend Roger Linn, designer of the LM-1 Drum Computer, the iconic Akai MPC and the LinnStrument.

Joining artist/producer Decap and Con Brio manager Casey Shafer for ‘Perspectives On The Journey From The Studio To Your Timeline’ are Jamie Sampson of Pandora and Michael Gross, Music Creative Director from Twitter.

Another highlight of the schedule is a two-part session focussing on arrangement for strings with cellist Joanne de Mars and bassist Aaron Gibson, supported by Prism Sound and ESI/Eleven Dimensions Media.

Artist Emily Afton and composer/producer David Earl discuss the creative process at Music Expo SF. Regardless of whether you’re an artist or producer, you won’t want to miss the Working with Artists seminar with composer/producer David Earl and artist Emily Afton which will shed light on the production process, covering everything from inspiration, capturing the idea, translating the vision, aesthetic and fleshing things out with production.

Additionally, there will be talks centred on Ableton’s brand new Live 10 software (and Push 2 updates), Native Instruments’ latest Machine Mk3 and Komplete Kontrol Mk2, as well as demos from iZotope on their refreshed mastering platform, Ozone 8. It’s the perfect place to try out new gear, with recent additions to the show’s exhibition including Antelope Audio, Shure, KeyFax New Media and Eleven Dimensions Media, who distribute ESI, PSI, Sound Radix and more. You can even get involved in the development of new software audio tools by applying to take part in Plugin Alliance's product focus group.

These exhibitors join the already impressive roster, including 4ms, Arturia, BAE Audio, Dave Smith Instruments, Earthquaker Devices, Eventide, Keith McMillen, Prism Sound, Pyramind, Vintage King, Yamaha, and Sound On Sound.
