Following its official launch back in February 2026, Musik Hack’s intuitive EQ plug-in has been treated to its first major update.
SweetEQ now features new band-pass filter modes that make it possible to limit the range of frequencies being processed and focus its EQ adjustments on the midrange, while new Soft Clip, Hard Clip and Clip Off modes then equip the plug-in’s clipper processor with an extended tonal range. It’s also now possible to toggle between stereo and Mid-Side processing, and if the plug-in instance is set to a mono input and stereo output, it will now create a phase-coherent stereo image when increasing the value of the Side control.
Compatibility
SweetEQ is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.15 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
Pricing & Availability
The latest version of SweetEQ is available now, and is free to existing users. For those looking to purchase a new license, they’re currently (13 April 2026) being offered at a reduced price of $79 (usually $99) for a perpetual license, or $6.50/month for 12 months on the company’s rent-to-own plan (usually $8.25/month).
