Nugen Audio have just released an update for their AI-powered dialogue intelligibility and compliance tool. Set to debut at the 2026 Media Production & Technology Show, DialogCheck 1.1 adds a selection of new features and functions that make it quicker and easier to use, as well as extending its immersive audio support.
Designed to help mixers, editors and QC teams compare the clarity of their dialogue tracks against industry standards, DialogCheck v1.1 introduces a selection of enhancements including expanded immersive support, improved efficiency and deeper loudness insights for post‑production and broadcast teams. The update also includes a new Session Timeline Offset feature, which allows users to define a custom timecode location at which analysis should begin. This is ideal for projects that do not start at zero on the timeline, and for editorial environments where timeline alignment is critical.
The release also expands channel layout support up to 9.1.6, enabling the tool to accommodate a broader range of immersive, surround and 3D audio formats. The offline AudioSuite experience has been refined too, and now offers a cleaner, more focused interface that displays only the information relevant to offline processing, reducing the amount of visual clutter for users who rely on non‑real‑time processing.
Compatibility
DialogCheck is supported on PCs running Windows 7 and above, and Macs running macOS 11 or later. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
Pricing & Availability
DialogCheck 1.1 is available now, and is being offered at a reduced cost of $299£250.80 (usually $399£334.80) until 11 June 2026. GBP prices include VAT.
