Other Worlds Evolved is the latest of Zero G’s sample libraries to be treated to a ground-up rebuild using their all-new Orbita Engine. Described as “a deeply interactive synthesis environment”, the latest offering packs in a 4.6GB collection of cinematic samples created by sound designer Adam Pietruszko and offers a mixture of sampling and wavetable synthesis.
The original Other Worlds library was praised for its vast sonic palette of evolving textures, and the new Evolved version promises build on that foundation, transforming all 500 original recordings into a modern cinematic instrument that’s capable of generating immersive environments, evolving sonic landscapes and expressive sound design for film, television, games, trailers and contemporary music production.
Every sound from the Other Worlds library has been integrated into the new engine, preserving the character and diversity that made the original a favourite among composers while opening up some new creative possibilities. The instrument includes 100 professionally designed presets that are said to showcase everything from evolving ambient textures and spacious soundscapes to unsettling horror atmospheres, cinematic transitions and experimental sonic explorations.

Compatibility
Other Worlds Evolved runs in the full version of Native Instruments’ Kontakt version 8.3 or higher, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 12 or later. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with a standalone application.

Other Worlds Evolved is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $41.95£37.95 until 6 August 2026, when it will increase to its full cost of $59.95£53.95. Upgrades from the original Other Worlds are priced at $19.95£17.95. Prices include VAT.
