After having joined forces as a part of the Soundwide group in 2022, Plugin Alliance, Brainworx and iZotope are now all officially a part of Native Instruments. The companies say that the decision to move forward under the Native Instruments brand was based on it being a more familiar name to the audio community than Soundwide.
Plugin Alliance say that the move will have no impact on their users' subscriptions or customer service, and that the tighter bond with Native Instruments will simply allow them to create a seamless and consistent experience for customers who also use products from Brainworx, iZotope and Native Instruments. Over time, the merge will result in a single unified login for accounts across all of the brands, with Native Access becoming the preferred destination for installing and authorising plug-ins and virtual instruments.
No exact timeframe has been set, although more iZotope products are expected to make their way across to Native Access over the course of this year, with Brainworx products set to follow in 2024. More educational content and stories featuring Brainworx and iZotope products are also set to appear on Native Instruments’ blog and social media channels.
As part of the merge, all of the companies are participating in Native Instruments’ annual Summer of Sound promotion, with savings of 50% or more applied to a wide range of software products.
