SRM Sounds introduce Max Richter Strings

First string library captured at Studio Richter Mahr

SRM Sounds Max Richter Strings string quintet sample library

The latest sample library to be created at Max Richter’s Studio Richter Mahr facility captures the string sound at the heart of the composer’s music: a string quartet augmented with an additional cellist for added depth, warmth and resonance.

Recorded with the musicians who have been at the centre of Richter's work for decades, the latest product to be released under the SRM Sounds name promises to deliver expressive performances that are rich in nuance, movement and human character. Capable of tackling everything from delicate solo lines to lush, cinematic textures, Max Richter Strings captures the organic sounds heard throughout recordings such as ‘The Blue Notebooks’ and ‘On The Nature of Daylight’.
