Mix With The Masters, the purveyors of week-long seminars with top recording professionals, have wrapped up their first of 2018, featuring engineering icon Steve Albini.

In an all-analogue seminar, Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and collaborator Greg Norman shared their process of recording and mixing. For three days, they were joined by a guest band with whom Albini and Norman worked closely to demonstrate their approach. For the remaining time, the attendees got feedback on their own productions from Albini and learned techniques for furthering their own work.

With sessions starting at 10am and often running until midnight, Mix With The Masters offer a fully immersive experience at La Fabrique Studios in France. This amount of time in the studio gave attendees the chance to spend one-on-one time with Steve and also learn from one another and compare approaches.
