Available natively for Windows and macOS systems with no Universal Audio hardware required, UAD Explore Free includes eight heritage UAD plug-ins and virtual instruments, and pairs them with a copy of the company’s LUNA DAW software. Renowned titles such as the 1176 Classic FET Compressor, Teletronix LA‑2A Tube Compressor and UA 610 Tube Preamp & EQ Collection are included, along with newer additions like Vibe Analog Machines Essentials and Showtime ’64 Tube Amp.

Compatibility
UAD Explore Free is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 11 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available. Authorisation is carried out by PACE’s iLok system, although a USB dongle is not required.
