The latest version of UVI’s flagship vintage-inspired soft synth collection has just arrived, expanding the suite with seven new instruments that capture an array of sought-after hardware. Said to suit both seasoned musicians who grew up with the originals and newcomers discovering them for the first time, Vintage Vault 5 includes everything from rare prototypes and early polysynths to the powerful workstations of the late 1990s.
Vintage Vault 5 introduces seven new additions to the collection: HX-20, HX-Oddy, PX WaveFrame, PX Guitar Syn, Mission 6, KAWAI Vintage Legacy and Vintage Casio Legacy. Described as the centrepiece of the new additions, Vintage Casio Legacy delivers set of six instruments that capture the sound of the company’s CZ, FZ, VZ, HZ, CTK and RZ ranges.
Every instrument in the collection has been created using professionally sourced, fully restored and expertly programmed original examples, all captured through high-quality signal chains. The 43 virtual instruments capture a total of 271 hardware synthesizers and drum machines, contain over 1 million meticulously recorded samples, and include more than 18,000 factory presets.
Compatibility
Vintage Vault 5 runs in UVI Workstation 4.0.4 and above, and Falcon 26.0.3 or higher, which are supported on PCs running Windows 10 or later, and Macs running macOS 10.14 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with standalone applications.
