128 channels of signal routing & DSP

Violet Audio dMix 128 digital routing matrix mixer AES67 Dante MADI

Announced just before the NAMM Show 2026, Violet Audio’s latest digital audio matrix offers 128 channels of signal routing, DSP processing and seamless control integration in a compact unit that’s been designed for live sound, broadcast, installation and immersive audio applications.

The dMix 128 is built around a powerful FPGA-based architecture, and is capable of handling 128 channels of audio at sample rates up to 96kHz, while offering sub-millisecond system latency and promising to deliver exceptional sonic transparency and the reliability required for mission-critical applications. Its been optimised for AoIP environments, supporting AES67 as standard and with ST 2110-30 compatibility planned via future updates.

Connectivity options include MADI I/O as standard, while support for Dante can be added via an optional expansion card — three onboard Ethernet ports are provided. The unit is equipped with 32 high-performance analogue inputs and 24 analogue outputs, and offers support for a wide range of remote I/O and stagebox solutions. For recording and hybrid setups, low-latency 64×64 channel computer drivers enable seamless DAW connectivity and native plug-in integration, making the dMix 128 equally powerful in live-to-studio, broadcast and virtual soundcheck environments.

Everything can be controlled via a browser-based interface, allowing for easy setup an intuitive operation from any computer or tablet, and it’s possible to configure the system to respond to a dedicated control surface if required.
