New IR reverb engine, Juno-inspired chorus & more

The latest version of Rapid Flow’s hardware-emulation synth plug-in expands on its predecessor with a new impulse-response reverb engine, new side-chaining capabilities and a chorus effect inspired by the much-loved Roland Juno-60.

Bringing together no fewer than 18 meticulously sampled hardware synths, Zensphere v2 offers a huge collection of mix-ready presets and promises to deliver some authentic-sounding ‘analogue warmth’. It captures classics from the likes of Sequential, Moog, Oberheim, Roland, Waldorf and more, with every note recorded individually across the instruments’ full keyboard range — no pitch-stretching has been applied, and with the exception of some limiting, no other software processing has been carried out. Plenty has been done in the analogue domain, though, with Rapid Flow tracking the instruments via a total of 16 high-end processors from brands such as Rupert Neve Designs, Studer, SSL, API and more.

What’s New?

Here’s a quick overview of what’s been added in Zensphere v2:

IR Reverb Engine: 12 impulse responses that cover everything from tight room ambiences to 40+ second cavernous spaces, each with dedicated band-limiting filters per the Abbey Road trick.
Juno 106-Inspired Chorus: Classic movement and stereo width inspired by the Roland Juno chorus circuit, with per-preset band-limiting controls.
Built-in Side-chain Engine: Mod-wheel-mapped ducking with a fully curve-editable envelope, locked to DAW tempo in 4/4 time or retriggering per note — no external plug-ins required.
