VSL have re‑entered the Space Race with a major upgrade of Big Bang Orchestra. First launched in autumn 2019, BBO’s 27 themed libraries featured a 70‑piece orchestra, six percussionists and 48 singers recorded in VSL’s Synchron Stage. The original BBO packs have now been replaced by seven focused collections organised by instrument family, which include all mic positions and benefit from VSL’s simpler, more intuitive Flow interface.
BBO Tutti (17.5GB) contains all the sample content and expansions of the old BBO packs Andromeda, Black Eye and Altair, featuring the entire orchestra playing together and individual strings, brass and woodwind sections. The articulations comprise essential basic styles, hits, rips, fast repetitions, octave runs, tension effects, atonal horror noises and the recently added full‑orchestra long chords, spanning the dynamic spectrum from soft con sordino clusters to high‑impact sforzando...
