Having designed their interesting Kontakt-based Dronar front-end, Gothic Instruments are now moving pretty quickly to provide users with a range of sample content (‘modules’) to exploit it...

This is most certainly not just another orchestral string library. Indeed, what’s perhaps most impressive with Dronar is just how far the playback engine can take its original sample source and in how many directions.

This collection of over 11GB of 24-bit WAV files was created by utilising the presets inside Gothic Instruments’ Sculptor Massive Whooshes Kontakt instrument and then saving the results as separate audio file sets.

Guitarscapes is built on a foundation of electric and acoustic guitars, plus mandolins and pedal steels. Sometimes the sources are obvious, but more often they’re not.
