While it’s true that built‑in Monitor speakers such as ADAM’s A8H, that have onboard DSP and analogue inputs, do add another stage of A‑D/D‑A conversion to the D‑A of your interface, it’s not really a problem!
I’ve been looking at buying the ADAM A8H active studio monitors, and it seems the onboard DSP uses an integrated 24‑bit/96kHz A‑D converter. How does this work if I’m already using higher sample rates in the DAW? Are we no longer hearing the interface conversion? Apologies if this is a stupid question!
