Reaper for drum editing?

Postby RemoHead » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:26 am

hi guys,

I treated myself to a copy of Reaper for Christmas for my little home studio setup and have up to now been playing rather nicely with it's midi functions but haven't really messed with the audio editing side.

I'm my main studio in running Protools 9 & Logic 9 on a macpro.

I do a lot of drum recording & multi track drum editing using beat detective & elastic audio and was wondering if it would be possible to get similar results using reaper somehow?

I would really like to be able to take work home with me & complete the edits in Reaper if possible but have no real clue where to start.

any suggestions or direction you could give me would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Remo

Have you explored the Reaper forum yet?

If all else fails :) there is an extensive manual to enjoy.

And of course SOS reaper

I don't know much but I'm happy to share my ignorance with anyone who can use it.
