If you can get someone to commit to an imaginary man, you can get them to commit almost anything.

Birkenhead is not quite woolyback land, and sounds like it would be a worthwhile trip ;)
I bought a martin acoustic from Cranes or at least I think it was called Cranes, anyway its the main shop in town just opposite central station. They set up the guitar pretty good..

Cranes shut years ago (by the Neptune/Epstein Theatre)...Dawsons is opposite Central as is Curly Music a bit further along...There is also Moran Sound in Gateacre which is a bit of a boutique guitar place.......

I've tried all the local ones and been far from happy.

Not Liverpool but get in the car and go to Cheadle. Ged Green works from home, you'll need to make an arrangement to visit. He does a proper setup with fret stoning for about 60 quid. Its the best money I've ever spent on a setup.

Go see Kappa on The Cavern pub at about 4.30 5pm Saturday and ask Paul (Kappa) who does his. He's got a good and cherished collection. I think he knows some guitar builders too as they sometimes bring him their latest to try out. If anyone knows he does. I guess you can also check him for weekday gigs on Facebook as he plays pretty much everywhere. He posts often.

Success is round the corner. It's also round the bend.
