Heritage Audio launch Bluetooth streaming module

Reference with ease from a mobile device, even an iPhone 7

A new 500-series module from Heritage Audio aims to bridge the gap between mobile devices and professional mixing desks. The BT-500 Streaming Module lets you stream audio from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. It’s designed for situations where producers and engineers want to listen to audio from a mobile device, to check a mix against reference material, for example.

That can be problematic when you don’t have a mini jack to XLR adaptor or, as in the case of the iPhone 7, there’s no audio output jack at all.

Cleverly, the BT-500 module automatically recognises your device’s best codec option and uses it for streaming, while its balanced +22dBu stereo output makes direct level comparisons possible. The module is available now, priced $199.
