Red Dog Music to open new pro-audio boutique in London

New showroom celebrated with £4000 gear giveaway

Independent music technology and instrument retailer Red Dog Music is to open a new pro-audio store in London. Due to open 1st July on Balham Hill, SW12, the purpose-built space will provide the opportunity for customers to experience a huge range of synthesizers, pianos, electronic drums, monitors, studio outboard and more in a bespoke, acoustically treated environment.

To celebrate the opening of the new location, Red Dog Music has partnered with some of the industry’s leading brands — Ableton, Aston Microphones, Focal, Audient, Native Instruments, and Iso-Acoustics — to give away over £4000 worth of recording and production equipment and software.

Managing Director Alex Marten said: “We’re really excited to be moving into this great new location, and to be able to offer musicians and audio professionals across London an opportunity to get hands-on with a huge range of the latest gear.”

The new store will offer musicians, engineers, producers and DJs the chance to demo the latest and greatest products from brands including Moog, Nord, Roland, Korg, Genelec, Neumann and more, as well as a wide selection of Eurorack modules.

Red Dog Music’s Associate Director Mike Fletcher added: “The new location not only gives us the opportunity to create a dedicated space with a custom-built demo room that is ideally suited to putting your gear short-list through its paces, but will also allow us to hold regular events and workshops, with a focus on our huge range of synthesizers and stage pianos.”

The new 8b Balham Hill store will take over from the current location on Bromell’s Road and is conveniently located 2 minutes’ from Clapham South tube station, just one stop from the previous store.
