Splinter Cell and FarCry 2 sound designer teams up with Zero-G
Zero G CyberstormPress Release: Zero-G have combined forces again with FX supremo Frédéric Devanlay to deliver Cyberstorm – a huge toolbox of soundscapes, movements, drones, impacts, weapons, voices, whooshes, hits, servos, explosions, and more.
These hard hitting sound FX focus on futuristic robotic warfare with intense mech versus mech combat, close quarters battles and epic futuristic sci-fi action effects. All the weapons of the near future battlefield are utilised from autonomous battlefield robots and main battle tanks to powered infantry and unmanned drones.
Frédéric Devanlay, who also produced Zero-G's Deep Impact and Perception sample collections, has been creating sound FX since the early 1990s with video game credits such as Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Ghost Recon Advanced War Fights and Far Cry 2 as well as movies including the Franco-Mexican production Days of Grace.
