Propellerhead release Reason Drum Kits Refill
Reason Drum Kits is a new collection of drum samples for Reason’s NN-XT sampler module.
Comprising 17 acoustic kits composed of more than 10,000 individual samples, the Refill not only features multiple velocity layers but NN-XT also automatically alternates between multiple samples at the same velocity for a more realistic performance.
Multiple microphones at various distances were used in the recording of the library, and each has its own channel in the Reason mixer so that the user can control the sound of the kit and the amount of room ambience.
16- and 24-bit versions of the library are supplied on the Reason Drum Kits Refill DVD, which also includes MIDI files, demo songs and drum kits for the Redrum module. It is available now and costs £79.
