Just got some new Adam Audio A7x's floor models from Long & McQuade in London Ontario, and I'm hearing some distortion when I play my Synthogy Ivory 2 American D piano, which I can't hear in my headphones or my old speakers (AudioEngine A5+). I can't tell if it's in the source audio (and my old gear wasn't articulate enough), or if there's a problem with these speakers. I recorded and uploaded it to sndup here:
https://sndup.net/3ps9
I'm not seeing any clipping in my DAW (Cubase 10.5).
Q: How does it sound on your monitors?
Q: Anyone with A7X's able to listen and report?
Thanks a ton guys!
My Setup:
Windows 10, i7-9750H, 16GB Ram, RTX 2070
Universal Audio Apollo Solo
Cubase 10.5 Pro
Adam Audio A7X's, connected through a Yamaha HS8S (Sub)

I'd try playing some sine wave tones through the speakers and see if they distort at particular frequencies. Keep the volume reasonably low and use a low distortion generator. I'm not sure what DAW you are using but the JS Tone Generator in Reaper works well as a test signal generator for me.
