After three years of meetings and prototyping, The MIDI Association and AMEI have released updated specifications that define the architectural foundations for MIDI 2.0.

The MIDI Association have announced that voting is now open for this year’s MIDI Innovation Awards, with the public able to vote for the best innovations in each of the five categories until 23 July.

The MIDI Association will be live streaming a round table discussion with the winners of last year's MIDI Innovation Awards as part of their May Is MIDI Month campaign.
