We caught up with founder of Cathedral Pipes Microphones and all-round good guy Chuck Dickinson, who tells us the story of how he started making microphones and sheds some light on his range of mics.

Behringer's recently announced X18 has the feature set that the, never-released, iX16 should have had from the start. With 18 inputs, 12 buses, a built-in wireless adaptor and wireless tablet control (via an iPad or other tablet device) the X18 will certainly be worth a look when it becomes available.
