A few different choices and Scott Jacoby might never have been a Grammy-winning producer. He was training to become a doctor when he decided that a life of music was for him. Going by his list of credits and awards, though, he should have few regrets. He’s worked with John Legend, Vampire Weekend and Vanessa Hudgens, and picked up some Grammy Awards along the way.

Scott welcomes us into his own Eusonia studios in New York to show us how he created a ‘60s-inspired track for former Ronnettes lead singer Ronnie Spector, using a mixture of period and modern techniques.

Each issue of SOS is now accompanied by a specially made video, bringing unique material to readers, such as studio tours, interviews with producers and engineers, and much more. Subscribe to our Youtube channel to get all the latest videos.
