The Hardware
At the core of the prize bundle is Universal Audio’s Volt 876, a 24-in/28-out USB interface with premium preamps, Vintage 610 mode, 1176-style compression, dual monitor outputs, ADAT, MIDI and word clock. Slate Digital supply the ML-1A modelling mic, and sE Electronics mark their 25th anniversary with a limited-edition Reflexion Filter Pro.
Warm Audio join in with the WA-44 ribbon mic and WA-MPX valve preamp.
Harrison provide their 32Classic Mix Strip, bringing classic console tone in a single rack unit.
Monitoring is covered by ADAM Audio’s D3V compact monitors and KRK’s Rokit 8 G5, with DSP voicing and extended bass. Headphones come from AIAIAI with their TMA-2 Studio Wireless and Fostex provide the T50RP MK4.
Focusrite add their Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen interface, while Allen & Heath contribute the ZEDi-10 mixer/interface.
The winner will also receive 500-series modules, namely SSL’s E-Series EQ and E-Series Dynamics modules, plus Cranborne Audio’s Brick Lane compressor.
IK Multimedia include their Tonex Pedal, Novation add the Launch Control XL 3 controller, and BlackBT round off the hardware with their innovative SusEx Pedal.
