XRI Systems XR300 or XR03 help needed
Hi All,
does anyone have an electronic copy of the manual for either
the XRI Systems XR300 or older XR03 SMPTE synchronisers?
I can work out the functions for basic stuff but I need to
get to the higher functions and I'm struggling.
Any help would be appreciated.

I no longer have a manual, but I did use an XR300 for many years. If there's something specific that you're trying to do I'll rack my brains to see if I can remember?

Hi,
I don't have any specific questions yet as have yet to plug the thing into my studio but I'd love to stay in touch in case something comes up. Mind if I stay in touch in case anything comes up?
Regards,
Ray

No problem at all.
I can't promise I'll, remember, but I'll give it a try!
TBH my XR300 spent 99% of its life quietly sitting at the bottom of its rack switched to MTC, which meant I never needed to even touch it. I'd highly recommend this if you can, because it is a much simpler life.

No problem. There are plenty of folks here to advise if you're struggling.

I think I maybe have to have 3 posts before I can move on. Any Ideas how to do this?

Your first three posts have to be approved by a moderator (it's an anti-spam measure), after that you're free to go. The forum can't host content though so you'll need to host it somewhere else and then post a link here or in a pm.
The easiest way to PM someone is to click the envelope button next to their avatar at the bottom of a post.

Thank you Blinddrew, I cannot see an envelope at the side of any avatar. so I presume I am still not able to PM anyone. As soon as I have been approved I will get this zip file out.
Thanks to all for your help

Hi ramsammy,
If ever you find a way to do this I would be very interested in the XR300 manual too!
Good luck.
Best regards,
musbase

I am still stuggling to either private message someone or reply with an attachment. If I can do it on another site I will let you know heremusbase wrote:Hi ramsammy,

The forum doesn't host attachments, so you'd need to find somewhere else to host and then link here.
If you're posting from a mobile I don't think the envelope shows. You have to go through the Control Panel, then Overview (change to PMs), then new message and then add in the user there.
It's not the most straightforward of systems but it's part of the forum software so...

If I do come across a copy of the manual some time (and I feel sure I still have it somewhere) I'll create a PDF of it.
