And there's a lot to get your head round, especially if you're doing video.
This happened to me, started the demo then got sidetracked and 60 days was up.
Good to know I can go back and finish my evaluation and if I decide to keep using it I will happily pay.

The great thing about Reaper is that it will work as a video editor - not just a video player. OK so it may not have all the bells and whistles of Premiere but for me, once you understand the video processor plug-in, it works in a much more logical way.

For video I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector. Comes with audio tools and you can load/link extra VST modules if you wish to.

I use Movie Maker at work sometimes but only when I can't use anything else. It's a very old and very limited bit of software.

But its very easy to use and dose not take up a lot of disk space and memory and is free with an old win xp. Unlike other DAWs I mentioned before 1.5GB just to download the bloody thing never mind install it, then there's the $500 DAW programs that you buy like 650 euro for melodine that stuff you would never ever ever use. guess its OK if you have your own recording studio that your running every day of the week, but for the home recorder bed room singer I guess not

Dear 'Deleted User', if you cannot run DaVinci-Resolve, there is probably little chance that you will be able to edit video using anything.

Get a better computer!

I still use it occasionally for compiling demo music videos for YouTube - it does the job and is indeed free with Windows
