Retrocraft brings vintage character, analogue-style saturation and lo-fi effects together into a single, intuitive plug-in.

In the latest expansion of their Symphonic Elements series, UJAM have introduced an all-new vocal instrument created using samples from Hans Zimmer’s orchestral library.

UJAM’s latest announcement sees the company ‘open up’ the development platform that has powered their own product catalogue, along with releases from the likes of Avid, Reason, Loopcloud, The Crow Hill Company and others. 

Based on the technology behind the company’s Virtual Drummer series, Groovemate Latigo features a phrase-based engine that allows users to trigger authentic-sounding percussion performances while maintaining control over their timing, feel and arrangement.

Voxcraft takes UJAM’s usual no-fuss design approach, and promises to provide a fast and intuitive way to shape distinctive, production-ready vocal sounds.

Virtual Pianist Grit is the second electric piano to join the Virtual Pianist line-up, and is said to offer a distinctly more rugged and expressive voice that its predecessor, Vibe.

UJAM’s new plug-ins pair their core effects engines with Filter and Finisher sections that come equipped with 40 and 50 presets respectively, providing users with a quick and simple way of creating a whole host of intricate creative effects.

Berlin-based software developers UJAM have announced that Retro Finisher, their vintage-inspired effects plug-in, is being offered as a free download until 7 December 2025.
