IK Multimedia expand their range of iOS device accessories with a motion controller for music apps called iRing.

Blue Microphones are now offering a Lightning connection for Spark Digital (www.bluemic.com/sparkdigital), the company's studio microphone for iPad, iPhone and Mac/PC. Spark Digital is the digital version of Blue’s Spark microphone, which we reviewed in April 2011 (http://sosm.ag/apr11-spark), and Blue claim it records professional-quality audio to any iOS device or any computer, laptop or tablet with USB input.

Universal Audio have just announced that UAD version 7.4.1 is now available as a public beta for Mac users. This version brings support for Pro Tools 11 and AAX 64 for UAD powered plug-ins.
