In association with Sound On Sound, Music Expo, the music conference for creative musicians, engineers and artists returns to Nashville for a second year on Saturday September 21st. Hosted once again at Nashville's SAE Institute, the event will feature its usual compelling mix of up-close access to some of the music business's most successful creatives, technique-focused workshops, live demos, and keynote presentations and panels on the themes of audio technology, music creation and the business side of music-making. Numerous music technology companies and industry bodies will also be exhibiting and demonstrating their wares, including Yamaha, Steinberg, IK Multimedia, Kali Audio and Genelec, alongside industry bodies such as the AES, SoundGirls and Women In Audio.
Artists, engineers and producers that have confirmed attendance at Music Expo Nashville so far include Bob Bullock (Art Garfunkel, Crazy Horse, REO Speedwagon), Neil Cappellino (Vince Gill, Avicii), Bobby Holland (Kesha, Maggie Rose), David Kalmusky (Journey, Keith Urban), and Tim Lauer (Taylor Swift, BMW). Industry movers and shakers will include Beville Dunkerley, Head of Country Music at Pandora, and Valerie Pensa, Senior VP of Marketing at RCA Records.
