Three-Body Technology introduce Trinity Shaper

Offers detailed control over transient sounds

Three-Body Technology Trinity Shaper Plugin Alliance transient shaping

Plugin Alliance have announced the launch of a new transient shaper plug-in developed by Three-Body Technology. Along with the usual attack and release stages found in such processors, Trinity Shaper takes things a step further by including a third stage that offers control over the body of the sound.

The company say that the plug-in is the first processor to include the additional stage, and that it offers a formidable dynamics-shaping tool that lends itself to a wide variety of applications — crafting punchy drum sounds, cleaning up guitar fret noise, reducing decay, amplifying room sounds and many more. It also features both single- and multi-band modes, with the latter kitted out with customisable frequency bands that make it possible to fine-tune its effect on different areas of the audio spectrum.

The comprehensive set of parameters are complemented by an equally detailed GUI that provides plenty of visual feedback; there are options that allow users to view a detailed waveform display as well as monitoring the threshold and input/output levels, making it easy to keep an eye on exactly what the plug-in is doing to the incoming signal. Despite its advanced set of controls, Three-Body Technology say that the plug-in is still intuitive and easy to use, and so is ideal for beginners and pros alike.

Compatibility

Trinity Shaper is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 11 and above. VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.

Pricing & Availability

Trinity Shaper is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $89.99 until 12 November 2024, when it will increase to $199. It is also included in all tiers of Plugin Alliance’s MEGA Bundle at no additional cost.
