...That’s what it’s all about, right? London-based Miloco studios think so. They’ve recently teamed up with Kostas Kalimeris, the owner of Black Rock, a residential studio complex on the idyllic Greek island of Santorini, to offer it as a destination on the Miloco map. Apart from recording and mixing facilities, the Black Rock complex includes five guest bedrooms, numerous balconies, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, as well as stunning panoramic sea views: a dream holiday destination for musicians who want to get some tracks down. First-year introductory rates start at 1250 Euros per day.
Currently, Miloco either own or are partnered with 13 other studios, mostly in London, but also in Spain and elsewhere in the UK. The latest addition to their portfolio is the Motor Museum in Liverpool, which they’ve opened in partnership with producers Mike Crossey and Jim Anderson.
