Sonuscore have announced the launch of The Orchestra Complete 4, the latest version of their flagship orchestral instrument. Said to be the most powerful and composer-focused version to date, the new release delivers everything that users loved about previous versions while introducing more in-depth tweaking and smarter built-in tools.
Key Features
The company say that the release stays true to what has made the series a go-to choice for so many composers: instant sketching, intuitive control and authenetic orchestral impact. It does introduce a whole host of new features, though, including:
- New Full String Ensembles: High and low sections recorded with rich articulations, ready to drop straight into your mix without the usual layering headaches.
- Cinematic Percussion Section: Epic taikos, snares, concert bass drums, metals and prepared piano accents, captured in a top London studio to give your scores some serious weight.
- 150+ New Presets: Most structured like real cues with intros, mains and outros, using TOC4’s all-new keyswitch variation system for evolving pieces that stay musical without heavy programming.
- Four Keyswitch Variations Per Preset: a single preset can now hold multiple cue sections, letting composers build complete, dynamic passages with fewer tracks and far less manual sequencing.
- Add8va Feature: Instantly doubles any part at the octave for wider, more powerful textures. Perfect for layering and big dynamic lifts.
- Expanded Articulation Set: Includes FX shorts, flam marcatos, repetition figures and low piano clusters, opening up even more creative scoring possibilities.
- 30+ New Single Instruments: Freely playable NKIs for detailed composing and precise orchestration.
“It’s not about being less of a composer. It’s about getting to the heart of the idea faster. We want the technology in the background so the composer can stay focused on the music.” - Tilman Sillescu, Founder, Sonuscore
