UK Electronic Music Festival

Hampshire Jam 9

Synthophile Ian Boddy, whose synth-based sample libraries we’ve reviewed numerous times over the years, has announced that he'll be playing live at the Hampshire Jam 9 Electronic Music Festival in November as part of the Redshift trio.

Originally founded by uber-fan Steve Jenkins, this legendary event was taken over last year by UK EM download site, Musiczeit. Hampshire Jam 9 is a retro-flavoured event and, according to its organisers, “has provided the only regular electronic music festival in the UK for some time”. Other artists performing at the festival include Stephan Whitlan, Ron Boots (with Harold van der Heijden and Frank Dorittke), and the Omega Syndicate. Tickets can be purchased from www.musiczeit.com/album.php?album=1440&Hampshire+Jam+9+Concert+Ticket+%2... for £33.99, and include one track by each of the four artists playing. Alternatively, you can buy tickets via the post from Musiczeit, 127 Station Road, Misterton, Doncaster, DN10 4DH.

Please make cheques payable to Musiczeit Ltd.

Saturday 13th November 2010, The Millennium Hall, Liphook, Hampshire.
